Idea of expedition to Sudety mountains had started long time ago, when we have almost all paths in our Beskidy mountains ridden, and we need to find new places to visit. Without much thought we started our expedition on 17 of august at railway station in our city, and after train journey to Kędzierzyn-Koźle we moved into the Lower Silesia and Sudety. The most important places we visited were: Ślęża - one of the highest single mountain in Silesia, Church of Peace in Świdnica /UNESCO monument/, one of the biggest brown coal mine in Poland in Turoszów, Nature Reserve Adrspach in Czech Republic, and Stołowe Mountains. We planned also to ride up to Praded in Jeseniky mountains, but one of us broke rim in his wheel, and we had to come back home earlier.
